Pendant with engraving recovered from ritual decorations of shamanic drums Saami representative of a bear.
Mighty, intelligent animal and with infinite resources, the bear is an animal revered and respected since prehistoric times in Lapp lands. Its spirit was often invoked by nordic shamans and its spring awakening after a long winter sleep, was associated to rebirth after death, making the animal a symbol of regeneration, healing and rebirth.
